THE BRAND
We want all people of color, from light to tan to dark skin tones, to feel like they have gift wrap, decorations, and greeting cards that actually resemble them from their skin tone to their hair texture.
As a result, Pure Cinnamon has created the products to help accomplish that. With Pure Cinnamon, people of color are not an afterthought, we cater our products specifically towards people of color. Through our products, whether it’s a present under the tree or a card for graduation, we want to exude a feeling that expresses affection, goodwill, gratitude, sympathy, and other sentiments.
Pure Cinnamon is a covenant between our team and our community to bring representation
through our products for people of color.
THE CEO
Pure Cinnamon is a black-owned and woman-owned business founded by Alana Rhone. Alana is a graduate of a Historically Black College and University. In her spare time, she is a sports enthusiast who loves spending time with her family.

Growing up, Alana always wondered why there were never a Brown or Black Santa or images of people of color on gift wrapping paper during the Christmas season. This led to her envisioning and founding Pure Cinnamon, a gift wrap, decoration, and greeting card business. Alana created each product that you see on the website. The gift wrap, decoration, and greeting card industry is not exactly known for their
racial diversity, but now Pure Cinnamon is trying to change that.
